At Hearn Industrial Service our Quality Testing Team provides a comprehensive set of Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing methods that meet all NA Standards – whether it is a Short Term Fix or a Long Term Solution.
As the name suggests, destructive testing is carried out to the specimen’s failure, in order to understand its performance or material behavior under certain circumstances. These tests are generally much easier to carry out, yield more information and are easier to interpret than Non-Destructive Testing. Destructive testing is most suitable and economic for objects that are being mass-produced, as the cost of destroying a small number of specimens is negligible.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a wide group of inspection techniques used in industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. Because Non-Destructive Testing does not permanently damage the specimen being inspected, it is a highly valuable technique that can save both time and money in product evaluation and troubleshooting.
