On May 20th, 2016, Hearn Industrial Services participated in the 2016 Ford Windsor Site Golf Tournament for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at Sutton Creek Golf Club.

Over 300,000 Canadian children, adolescents and adults live with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). It is a leading cause of life threatening and debilitating complications, such as blindness, kidney disease, nerve damage, heart attack, stroke, amputation and even death. Although T1D is a serious and difficult disease, treatment options continue to improve with advanced research and people with the disease are able to lead full and active lives. JDRF is driving research to improve the technology people with T1D use to monitor blood sugar levels and deliver the proper doses of insulin, as well as research that will one day hopefully provide a cure.

Hearn Industrial Services was proud to not only be a Hole Sponsor for this event, but also be able to send 2 foursomes of golfers to support this important fundraiser!
