Quality Inspector - East Chicago

Job Description

Hearn Industrial Services, a leading service provider to the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Containment Supervisor for our East Chicago, IN Facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the department runs in an efficient and profitable manner, providing value-add solutions to our client’s needs. Measurements of success include customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention and expansion of client base.
3 Crew Operations Available OT. Overtime Pay included if you are willing to work WEEKENDS!

FULL TIME 40HRS PER WEEK AVAILABILITY IS A MUST.

Job Scope and Requirements:

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual; communicating required adjustments to supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste

Experience (preferred):

•    Factory/Warehouse experience (ANY)
•    Manufacturing/Machine Operating experience
•    Knowledge in Automotive field
•    Highschool Graduate
